The Central Regional Tourism District sets out on a culinary adventure in our latest episode. Host, Anne Orsene, has her Taste of New Haven tour guide, Colin Caplan, take her on a walking tour of Yale's campus, BAR, Temple Grill and ordinary.

John Davenport's

For one of the best views of the city, head to John Davenport’s on the 19th floor of the Omni Hotel on Temple Street. They offer an upscale atmosphere where you can enjoy an elegant dinner with a view of New Haven, a breakfast buffet or a fancy cocktail in their bar area. View map and address


Close to both the Shubert and Yale Repertory Theater, ordinary is a great spot for a quick bite and a drink before the show. The bar has a rich history dating all the way back to 1659. ordinary is known for their half yards of beer and bartenders will suggest a drink pairing with any of their cheese and meat boards or fresh baked pies.
